Lisa White is the principal oboe of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, a position she has held since 2018. She received a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Cape Town and a Master of Music in oboe performance from the University of New Mexico, where she studied under Dr Kevin Vigneau.
As an orchestral player, Lisa has also performed ad hoc with the Free State Symphony, Eastern Cape Philharmonic, and the Santa Fe Symphony. She also plays chamber music with colleagues from the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, including performances at the annual Franschhoek Chamber Music Festival and occasional concerts around Cape Town.
