Equipped with a B.Mus [Hons] in piano performance from Stellenbosch University and lots of enthusiasm, Liza Joubert embarked on a musical journey that has been filled with many and varied experiences, ranging from solo classical piano performances in the Antarctic, the Czech Republic and France, playing double bass and piano for cabaret chanteuse extraordinaire Daniele Pascal, accompanying students and lecturers at Stellenbosch University and UCT, ballet classes for Cape Ballet Africa and the Drakensberg Boys Choir, playing Stockhausen in duo performances with Jill Richards, to sometimes producing films and inspiring hit songs. She is delighted to be at Beau Soleil in the dual role of piano teacher and accompanist!
